Common Questions of First Year Chinese Students & Parents

Learn about common questions of many first year Chinese students and parents. We will share examples of these types of questions and provide practical guidance on how to best address these questions. Become an effective communicator with students and parents and proactively address their most pressing concerns.  In turn, this will result in increased parent satisfaction and better student acclimation into the school community.

Mrs. Rochelle Yang

Rochelle serves as International Student Program Assistant and Math and Chinese teacher at Wheaton Academy in West Chicago, Illinois. In her role assisting with the international program, Rochelle communicates with the parents of Chinese students on a daily basis, answering all their questions and concerns, and has gained a unique insight into the most common concerns from both parents and students.
