International Student Best Practices Symposium

WA Global Network has moved their June 2020 Best Practices symposium online!

You are invited to join their Virtual Symposium today.

For the past 11 years, WA Global Network has been honored to host professional development for International Program leaders.  Our conferences, symposiums and webinars provide current topics and practices, inspirational calls to action and practical tips and ideas for immediate implementation.

The health and safety of our attendees and team is our top priority. In light of Covid-19, the International Student Best Practices Symposium will now take place over three Tuesdays in June through Zoom webinar format: June 16, 23, and 30. The symposium will feature sessions with content directly applicable to the Covid-19 pandemic. Through this updated, online format, we are looking forward to fruitful sessions and discussions with you!

Join other Christian school international program directors, program coordinators, admissions directors, teachers, administrators, and host parents this coming June. Bring your whole team! You’ll leave INSPIRED by new ideas and insights, EQUIPPED with tools and resources, and CONNECTED to other colleagues in the field to continue the work with international students at your school.

Some Features of our new Virtual Symposium Format:

Each morning there will be a plenary session or devotional, break-out sessions and a “coffee hour” for networking online after the sessions.

Each session will have time for participant interaction and Q and A so it will feel more like a workshop and less like a broadcast.

50% of content will be directly applicable and informed by the COVID-19 pandemic and how that is affecting our international programs.

Sessions will be offered over 3 mornings – Tuesday, June 16, 23, and 30. Sessions will occur from 10:30AM to 1PM CST.


We will host the symposium on Zoom and Zoom webinar. Links and passwords for each session will be sent to you upon registration. All sessions will be recorded so if you miss one, you can view it later.
